Although hot summer months are drawing to a near, in the South, that means nothing for mosquitoes. If you’re planning your wedding or any event, use this DIY Bug Repellent recipe to keep the bugs at bay and adorn your venue with unforgettable luminaries. FYI, this remedy won’t break your wedding budget either! Super cost-friendly and easy to assemble. You’ll need: Mason jars (We used half pint, pint and quart sizes) Lemon eucalyptus oil (4 ounce jar) Rosemary sprigs Lemon Limes Water Floating candles
The aroma of the oil and rosemary is fragrant and clean. The green and yellow from the lemons and limes really add color to your space. The best part is the mosquitoes don’t stand a chance. True story: During our rehearsal dinner, guests complained about mosquitoes. At that time, we hadn’t decorated the venue or even assembled the mason jar luminaries. Fast forward two days later, the jars were assembled and there was no trace of mosquitoes. Guests raved about the fragrance from the jars, too. Lockhaven Farm is a farm wedding venue located near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
